Security meeting for city traders

TRADERS in Cork city have been encouraged to attend a special meeting tomorrow to discuss security and policing.

The Cork City Centre Business Community Safety Forum meeting will take place in City Hall’s council chamber at 2.30pm.

Gardaí will present a report and traders can raise their concerns directly with them.

Forum chairman Donal Healy said these issues will then be brought to a Joint Policing Committee meeting attended by gardaí and city officials and action will be taken.
