Little chef’s TV deal a recipe for success

HE may be only five years old but Ireland’s youngest chef has been signed up to do a cookery series on TV3.

Master-chef Ciaran Crawford became an internet hit when he filmed a home video about making Irish stew. The video went down so well he followed it up with other mini movies for lasagne and spare ribs.

TV3 invited the Co Donegal youngster to appear on its This Morning show. Station bosses were so impressed with the public’s reaction that he has now been given his own summer slot.
