Alleged sabotage ends Irish vessel’s Gaza journey

IRISH campaigners who were attempting to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza were shocked after discovering a propeller shaft of the MV Saoirse was damaged.

Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore says he is concerned about the alleged sabotage of an Irish ship travelling toward the Palestinian enclave, but refused to confront Israeli officials about allegations Israel was to blame.

Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin condemned the attack.
