Men guilty of ATM theft

TWO men from Co Down pleaded guilty yesterday at the Circuit Criminal Court in Tralee to charges relating to the theft of an ATM from a bank wall containing over €200,000 in Main Street Castleisand last November.

Christopher Murney, 24, Chapel Hill Road, Mayobridge, Co Down, who has been in custody since his arrest last November yesterday pleaded guilty to four charges. Thomas Wilson, 29, Sea Patrick Villas, Banbridge, Co Down, who has been on bail, pleaded guilty to the same charges.

Both men were remanded in custody for sentencing on July 15.
