Councillors hit out over speed camera van deployment

COUNCILLORS have hit out at the deployment of a mobile speed camera van outside a graveyard in north Tipperary.

The van, operated by private company GoSafe as part of An Garda Síochána’s road safety strategy, is targeting motorists on Nenagh’s Old Dublin Road.

But the van is parked at Lisboney Cemetery on a stretch of road where an 80km/h limit is under review.
