Man, 53, dies in car crash

A 53-YEAR-OLD man was killed and a man and a woman injured in a crash in Limerick.

The two-car collision happened just after 6pm yesterday on the N21 Limerick to Adare Road, 6km outside Limerick city.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while two injured parties were treated at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital. Witnesses can contact Adare gardaí on 061 396216.
