Paddy sits exams in hospital bed

A BRAVE young student who was rushed to hospital after becoming ill during the night still managed to sit his Leaving Cert exams from his hospital bed.

Paddy Kitt, 17, from Knocknacarra in Galway had already done several exams at St Joseph’s College in Galway city when he became ill in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The teenager, a nephew of three former Fianna Fáil ministers, was rushed to University College Hospital.
