English paper has a fairytale ending as examinations begin

MYSTERIES and fairytales featured strongly among the Leaving Certificate essay titles chosen by students at a Cork school where the exams started without much panic.

More than 166 Junior Certificate students are taking their first state exams at Christ King Secondary School in Douglas, while 164 girls are doing the Leaving Certificate.
