Man shot in the head

A MAN was in serious condition last night after being shot a number of times — including at least twice in the head — at a Co Dublin caravan park.

The victim, believed by gardaí to be in his 50s, was shot outside his mobile home at the Caravan Park on the Corballis Road in Donabate at approximately 4.40pm.

Two men, wearing balaclavas and with their heads hooded, were seen running from the park. Gardaí said a burnt-out car believed to have been used in the shooting was found at Turvey Woods, in Donabate 20 minutes after the attack.
