IRELAND had the second highest rate of unemployment in the OECD in March, according to latest data.

Spain has the highest unemployment rate in the 32-country body at 20.7%, followed by Ireland at 14.7%, Slovakia at 13.9%, Hungary at 11.9% and Portugal at 11.1%.

Compared to the OECD figures for the same month last year, Ireland has gone from third to second in the overall rankings, while the unemployment rate has increased 1.5% in that time.
