Charity treasure hunt at Lough Derg boat rally

BOAT lovers will converge in Killaloe, Co Clare, for a charity treasure hunt on Lough Derg.

Now in its second year, The Captains Run 2011 takes next weekend and follows the huge success of last year’s inaugural event, which attracted more than 150 people onto the lake.

This year’s event will raise vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers and pleasure craft of all shapes and sizes will take part.
