Breaches of food safety laws

TWO closure and one prohibition order were served on businesses last month for food safety legislation breaches.

A closure order was served on the Golden China restaurant in The Square, Lisdoonvarna, Co Clare while Curran’s restaurant in Church Street, Ennistymon, Co Clare was ordered to close a customer toilet and rear storage area.

A prohibition order was served on World Beers, Unit 1, Quitman O’Neill Street, Brendan Road, Portumna, Co Galway, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland said.
