Purchase of engineering company ‘saves 30 jobs’

THE acquisition of a Waterford-based engineering company, in receivership since March, has “initially saved 30 of the 94 jobs”, according to its new buyers.

William Bolster, of the Bolster Group of companies, and Helen Walsh, who has extensive experience in working with multi-national manufacturing companies, acquired Ellickson Engineering Ltd last month.

A spokesman for the buyers said Mr Bolster and Ms Walsh “plan to grow and develop the concern”.
