Varadkar up every pole in Dublin West for poster ties

TOURISM Minister Leo Varadkar and about a dozen volunteers have removed around 10,000 cable poster ties from the Dublin West constituency.

Yesterday Mr Varadkar posed in his shirtsleeves among a truckload of the cables that were brought for recycling.

He said he was keen to take a lead in a local project to improve the environment for visitors.
