Search begins for Rose escorts

CALLING all unattached young men aged between 21 and 30 for what is dubbed “probably the best job in the world” for a week in August.

They don’t need the heart-throb looks of a Colin Farrell or a George Clooney, but essential qualifications include a liking for fun, a sense of humour and a “way” with the women.

The Rose of Tralee Festival is looking for young men to act as escorts for the lovely bunch of international Roses who will be vying for the prestigious 2011 title.
