Man jailed for sex assault on girl, 13

A 27-YEAR-OLD man was jailed for two years when he admitted committing a sexual assault against a teenage girl in what was deemed a drink-drugs orgy.

Judge John O’Hagan heard the girl, aged 13, was frightened when told earlier by Thomas O’Hara, who was 23 at the time, that if gardaí found a young girl drunk, they would beat her up and throw her in a cell.

Donegal Circuit Court was told the girl should have been on a sleepover at a friend’s house.
