Detectives find image in garda sex case

DETECTIVES are understood to have found a sexually explicit picture on a mobile phone during their investigation of a garda accused of sexual misconduct with a teenage boy.

Gardaí are refusing to comment officially on the find, but sources have indicated that the picture is of male genitalia.

The garda at the centre of the case was suspended more than a week ago after a complaint was made to the Garda authorities, not by the boy but by a third party.
