THE National Paediatric Hospital Development Board is to meet within the next fortnight to discuss who should become its next chairman. The former chairman, John Gallagher, resigned this week.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Dr James Reilly has confirmed that the review of the national children’s hospital plans could take months.

The Mater project, earmarked five years ago, has a considerable private funding shortfall which it is trying to make up.
