Lucky student gets a lift with Cork taxi firm

A CORK taxi firm is “giving something back” to students who support it throughout the year by paying the annual registration fee of one lucky scholar.

Despite the challenges facing the industry, Cork Taxi Co-Op, which has been in business for 40 years, has continued its backing of a University College Cork (UCC) scholarship fund.

The lucky recipient of the prize fund this year is Cork’s Patrick Kelleher, a final-year BIS student.
