Irish Examiner shortlisted for health award

THE Irish Examiner has been shortlisted for the annual Crystal Clear MSD Health Literacy Awards for its investigation into suicide.

Now in its fourth year, the awards recognise those who, through their initiatives, give the general public a greater understanding of the work of healthcare professionals, therefore allowing them to take better control of their health.

The Irish Examiner has been shortlisted in the Best Health Communication Through Journalism category for its 20-page investigation supplement on suicide and its Let’s Talk Suicide booklet, both of which were distributed with the newspaper.
