Ellickson to meet with staff

Fears have been growing for the for the jobs over the past week as there were signals from the company that an examiner may have to be appointed.

According to Pat Kavanagh of the Technical Engineering and Electrical Union, staff have been treated “disgracefully” as they have not been kept informed.

“Last Tuesday the company stopped trading and staff were told to go away for the weekend and come back on Monday if they had not heard anything. Now they are hearing a receiver might be appointed tomorrow. But really they have no idea what is going on.”
