Ellickson to meet with staff

THE future of up to 80 staff at Ellickson Engineering Plants in Waterford and Dublin are set to be determined at a meeting with company bosses yesterday.

Fears have been growing for the for the jobs over the past week as there were signals from the company that an examiner may have to be appointed.

According to Pat Kavanagh of the Technical Engineering and Electrical Union, staff have been treated “disgracefully” as they have not been kept informed.
