Garda suspended over teen sexual allegation

A GARDA has been suspended from duty following claims of alleged sexual misconduct with a boy in his mid-teens.

Senior Garda sources have confirmed the investigations into the allegation have been going on for the past couple of weeks and are continuing.

A superintendent from county Cork has been appointed to oversee the investigation and has a team of detectives probing the allegation.
