UP to 130 jobs are to be created in Waterford thanks to an investment by an entertainment company in four pubs in the city centre.

The Dinn Ri leisure group already employs 130 people at its sprawling Dinn Ri premises in Carlow and bought four premises on Waterford’s John Street late last year.

All four venues closed when the Tweedy Group in Waterford went into receivership early in 2010, with the loss of almost 100 jobs.
