Special concert marks phase one in organ restoration project

The event, attended by about 100 specially invited guests, marked the completion of the first phase of the €1.2 million organ restoration project.

The occasion also marked the completion of two more phases of the restoration of the building — the full re-pointing and cleaning of the main spire and the renovation of the gates, railings and walls on Bishop Street.

Dean of Cork, the Very Reverend Nigel Dunne, welcomed the guests.
