'Giveblood.ie’ app launched

THE Irish Blood Transfusion Service has launched its Giveblood.ie app for the iPhone.

The free-to-download application allows users to view the most common eligibility queries, check blood supply levels and search for clinics by date and nearest location. Users can also share clinic details with friends via email, Facebook and Twitter and invite them along to local blood donation clinics.

The Giveblood.ie app is free to download from the iTunes App store today.
