Midsummer’s new director

TOM CREED has been named as the new director of Cork Midsummer Festival of the Senses.

Festival chairman Jim Corr said his board were delighted to appoint Creed to the position.

A native of Cork, Creed has directed a number of shows at previous Midsummer Festivals.

He is currently in New York, directing the American tour of another Midsummer Festival production, Raymond Scannell’s Mimic.
