Mixed views on DJ escaping charges

THERE were mixed views on the streets of Cork yesterday following news that radio presenter Neil Prendeville is to escape prosecution in relation to committing a lewd act on an Aer Lingus flight last October.

According to the majority of those who voiced their opinions it was “wrong” for Mr Prendeville to have escaped punishment for exposing himself in public.

One local Cork man, Glenn Stephen from Douglas, said he felt nobody should get away with what Mr Prendeville did.
