A MAN was being questioned by gardaí after two people were stabbed in the early hours of yesterday morning during an on-street incident.

Two men aged 25 received stab injuries, described as “non-life threatening” by gardaí, after a row broke out near the centre of Clonmel, Co Tipperary, at about 2am.

Both victims received medical attention and one was still being treated at South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel last night as a result of stab wounds to his back and head.
