FINISHING up a final day of canvassing, Mr Gilmore hit out at other parties he said had made his party the victim of misleading electioneering.

His comments came as it emerged a key review of the Department of Finance and the economic crisis will not be published until after the next government take their seats — despite sitting on the minister’s desk for over two months.

Mr Gilmore, speaking to reporters in Dublin, again appealed to voters to keep Fine Gael from forming a single-party government by voting for Labour. But he also claimed that his party during the campaign was a victim of dirty election tactics.
