Greens target Fine Gael ‘nonsense’ policies

OPINION polls may have already ruled the Greens out of the next government but the party made sure of it yesterday by dismissing Fine Gael policies as nonsense.

Setting out their five pledges for the future, the Green Party listed what it called its ‘non-negotiables’ for whatever role it plays in the next Dáil.

Top of the list was protecting state companies such as Bord Gáis, Coillte and the ESB as part of a wider policy on creating jobs within the green economy.
