Social charge’s ‘terrorism’ label defended

GERRY ADAMS last night used the British government’s definition of terrorism to defend his controversial use of the term.

The Sinn Féin president insisted he would not apologise for describing the universal social charge as “an act of gross terrorism” after the comparison provoked uproar from rival parties.
