Job creation plan dominates FG manifesto

LIFTING the ban on stag-hunting was one of the few surprises in Fine Gael’s manifesto unveiled yesterday.

Job creation dominated the election document, but the five-point plan for national recovery at the heart of the policy programme has already been heavily trailed.

Rival parties claimed Fine Gael had left it until halfway through the campaign to reveal its manifesto because the party was lacking in new ideas.
