THE hotel at the centre of an investigation following the death of a woman from a suspected carbon monoxide leak will reopen for business three days before St Valentine’s Day.

The Trident Hotel in Kinsale, Co Cork, was temporarily closed a month ago after Limerick woman Miriam Reidy, 35, died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

But bookings for a “St Valentine’s Romantic Getaway” are now being taken by hotel staff ahead of the reopening of the premises on Friday.
