Boyle insists ‘FF did the damage’

THE lord of political tweeting believes he can distance himself from the backlash against the Government and win a seat in Cork South Central.

Green Senator Dan Boyle, who launched his election campaign yesterday, laid the blame for the economic collapse firmly on the shoulders of Fianna Fáil and especially Charlie McCreevy and Brian Cowen.

The 48-year-old, who is his party’s spokesman on finance, said the collapse was based on too much spending without appropriate tax rises.
