THE father of Irish-American comedian, Des Bishop has passed away after a battle with lung cancer.

Michael Bishop, who lived in Midleton in Cork and England before emigrating to New York, was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in November 2009.

Des Bishop’s latest show ‘My Dad Was Nearly James Bond’ is all about his father.
