Variation of €1.50 per hour in city’s car park charges

A SURVEY of car-parking prices in Cork city has revealed massive variations in the amounts drivers are expected to pay in the eight multi-storey facilities in the centre of the shopping district.

The survey by the Director of Services of Cork City Council revealed that the cost of leaving a car for one hour can be anywhere between €1.70 and €3.20.

The local authority has two multi-storey car parks in the city, in North Main Street and Paul Street.
