No army of Waissel Warriors for Katie

SHE didn’t have the X Factor and it would appear Katie Waissel’s Z-list popularity is now close to complete.

Arriving into Dublin Airport and sporting the de rigeur dark sunglasses even within the terminal building, the X Factor contestant better known for her prostitute granny than her singing ability was probably hoping for a crowd of fans — dubbed in someone’s infinite wisdom as “Waissel Warriors” — to meet and greet her.

If one were being charitable one could point out that the ongoing difficulties with Aer Lingus meant the airport was a lot more empty of X Factor fans than might have been the case on a normal day.
