Global invite for Tall Ships

THE host city for this year’s Tall Ships Races has issued a global invitation to the event by sending out 150,000 postcards to be posted around the world.

Waterford has distributed the postcards to homes, schools, hotels and public offices in the area and is urging locals to send them on to friends and family throughout Ireland and overseas.

Recipients are invited to experience what will be Ireland’s biggest ever quayside — when the international Tall Ships come to Waterford from June 30 to July 3.
