Hollywood legend Maureen O’Hara will be guest of honour at the ceremony which takes place on Friday at Fota Island Hotel.

The Dublin-born actress who has an enviable string of all-time classics to her credit — including The Hunchback of Notre Dame, How Green Was My Valley, Miracle on 34th Street and The Quiet Man — is to have a legacy centre built to honour her in her adopted home of Glengarriff.
