Gilmore: Labour win would help save hospital
Senator Phil Prendergast is hoping to ride the Labour wave and take one of three seats in South Tipperary where Fianna Fáil won two last time out and the third seat was held by Fine Gael.
However, with Fianna Fáil expected to lose one of its seats in the constituency and Fine Gael tipped to remain on one, the third seat may come down to a battle between Ms Prendergast and her former mentor, ex-TD Seamus Healy.
