HSE apologises over salary delays

THE Health Service Executive (HSE) apologised to thousands of its employees last night after their salary payments were delayed.

The HSE blamed a “technical error” which it is understood affected the computer system which governs the timing of the payments.

It is not related to the controversial PPARs (personal, payroll and related systems) computer system.
