Critical injuries after house fall

A MAN was in a critical condition at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital last night after falling from a third floor window of an apartment.

It is believed the 20-year-old was attending a party in the building in John Street earlier in the night.

Gardaí were alerted by a passerby who found the seriously injured man on the street and he was rushed to hospital by ambulance. While gardaí are not treating the fall as suspicious it is understood they have spoken with a number of people who had been at the party.
