IRELAND’S abortion legislation could be changed by a ruling due out next week from the European Court of Human Rights.

Two Irish women and one Lithuanian who live in the country and travelled to Britain for abortions took the action against the state five years ago.

Their case was heard last December in the Grand Chamber with 17 judges and on Thursday they will give their judgment.
