GARDAÍ in Limerick are investigating the theft of a postal delivery van from outside a post office on Thursday afternoon.

The van was taken from Croom by a man who reportedly drove up a one- way street as he fled.

The postal worker had stopped at the local office to clear his frozen windscreen and while he was getting water, the van was driven away.
