Even cold feet would not stop this wedding

THERE are white weddings and there are will-they-won’t-they weddings — yesterday’s marriage of Maria Tierney and Ollie Finnegan had a bit of both.

The happy couple overcame snow, icy roads and transport problems to tie the knot in idyllic winter wonderland surroundings.

As the weather deteriorated in recent days, the couple — from Ferrybank in Waterford city — worried that their long-planned dream wedding at Faithlegg House Hotel would not go ahead.
