Gormley: I feel like we are in an asylum

GREEN leader John Gormley has likened working in Government during the economic crisis to being in an “asylum”.

He also said questions had to be asked about the euro’s future and claimed it may only survive if there is some form of “federal Europe”.

“Perhaps this is one of the things we would prefer to avoid but it is now unavoidable,” Mr Gormley told the Dáil last night.
