THE bailout deal with the EU and IMF, which could be agreed in the coming days must be “flexible” so Fine Gael can reverse cuts and impose new ones when it gets into office, party leader Enda Kenny said.

Fine Gael has already said it will not be bound by the cuts outlined in the four year plan in the likely event that it gets into office in the new year.

Mr Kenny said his party should not have its hands tied by the bailout deal in which Ireland is expected to get €85 billion of emergency funding in return for certain terms and conditions.
