A TRIAL related to the crashing of two cars that resulted in the deaths of two teenagers will continue on Monday following legal argument in the absence of the jury.

Six men facing charges arising out of a series of incidents culminating in the death of two teenagers are on trial before Judge Patrick J Moran and a jury at Cork Circuit Criminal Court where they all deny the charges against them.

Philip Murphy, 40, and James Simms, 27, are both accused of dangerous driving of cars on Friday, May 14, on Harbour View Road, Cork city, causing the death of CJ Dolan, 16, and Derry O’Callaghan, 19.
