Santa record attempt cancelled

The Santa Challenge campaign was a fundraising event for Co-operation Ireland and local Cork charities, which planned to get 15,000 people dressed as Santa onto the South Mall in an attempt to break the record of 12,937 set by Derry.

The organisers said they took the decision due to the lack of entries so close to the event.
