Kerry fire programme

KERRY County Council is proceeding with a programme to provide fire blankets for local authority houses in the Killarney area, a meeting of local councillors was told.

This is part of an ongoing safety programme by the council’s housing department which has already fitted fire alarms in council-owned houses.

It is hoped to have the fire blankets available by the end of next month.
